The Englishman is a target for Spurs as a goalkeeper.
While his contract expires next June, Hugo Lloris could finally extend with Tottenham.
While the future ofHugo Lloris seemed to be written far from Tottenham, the situation could change in the coming weeks. The London club had indeed expressed the wish to recruit a goalkeeper to replace the 34-year-old French international (136 caps), at the end of the contract next June, by targeting in particular Jordan pickford.

But this Monday, The Athletic announces that the leaders of the club have entered into negotiations with the former Lyon to discuss an extension. The English media even affirms that the Spurs are rather confident in this matter. Antonio Conte had recently said that he considers the Frenchman to be an important and world-class player, both on the pitch and in the dressing room.
It will nevertheless be necessary that the former Nice wish to stay and potentially move from captain and titular goalkeeper to a role of number 2, if another goalkeeper were to sign during the next summer transfer window. One year before the World Cup in Qatar, there is no doubt that the captain of the Blues will want to remain as competitive as possible.
