In the shadow of Lionel Messi at Barça, Andrés Iniesta was a magnificent player. Proof in pictures.
Sole scorer of the coronation ofSpain in the 2010 World Cup final against the Netherlands, Andres Iniesta did not come far from being elected Fifa Ballon d’Or 2010 in front of his star teammate of FC Barcelona Lionel Messi. The 37-year-old midfielder, who still plays for Vissel Kobe, has obviously marked his time.
The Champions League Twitter account highlighted Iniesta with a compilation of the player’s best actions, including his rather impressive little slaloms in La Liga and the Champions League, or even this magical recovery of the ball during the Blaugranas’ game against the PSG in 2015.
🗣️ “If he dribbles, if he carries the ball and goes at people, everything flows.”
