-
2/12
Ivo Grbic (goalkeeper, Losc, 25)
A substitute goalkeeper at Atlético last season, the Croatian goalkeeper was recruited by Losc to succeed Mike Maignan and manages to distinguish himself. A modern goalkeeper despite his 1.96 m.

3/12
Malo Gusto (right back, OL, 18 years old)
Twirling in the preseason, but too crumbly defensively, the young player trained in Lyon (and native of Décines) was able to seize his chance during the absence of Léo Dubois. The French international suffers from the comparison offensively …

4/12
Warmed Omari (central defender, Rennes, 21)
The Rennais were looking for a third central defender last summer, after the arrival of Loïc Badé, but it is a youngster from the club, Warmed Omari, who suddenly imposed himself in central hinge instead of the former rock of RC Lens. A great success from Bruno Genesio.
-
5/12
Kevin Danso (central defender, Lens, 23)
Looking for a replacement at Badé, the RCL took a long time to find a new nugget, by offering itself (for 5.5 M €) a colossus who was playing in Bundesliga 2, with Düsseldorf. The Austrian prodigy imposed himself from the start.
-
6/12
Przemyslaw Frankowski (left side, Lens, 26)
Recruited in MLS (Chicago) to become the lining of Jonathan Clauss as the right piston of the Blood and Gold, the Polish winger took advantage of the absences to start left-handed and string together the shots. A nice shot at 2.3 M €.

9/12
Ilan Kebbal (attacking midfielder, Reims, 23)
After a good season in Ligue 2, in Dunkirk, the small attacking midfielder has gradually established himself in the attacking sector of the Stade de Reims. A talented left-hander, author of a goal and 4 assists. Rewarded by a convocation in Algerian selection in October.
-
10/12
Mohamed Bayo (center forward, Clermont, 23)

12/12
Gerald Baticle
Assistant coach at OL for … 10 years (!), The former player of AJ Auxerre was chosen by Angers for the post-Stéphane Moulin and successfully transformed the team. A new face for Ligue 1 and for a long time to come?
Ligue 1 is soon halfway through this 2021-2022 season and players, rather young or landed from nowhere, have managed to hatch on the meadows of Hexagon.
Each season, Ligue 1 allows many players to win in their team, to confirm the hopes placed in them or quite simply to blossom at a high level. Young talents have emerged in their training club, like the defender of Stade Rennais Warmed Omari (21) or the striker of Stade de Reims Hugo ekitike (already 7 goals this season!).
Other unknown players, recruited from the other side of Europe or even across the Atlantic, are now shining on the grounds of the French championship. Pablo Rosario, Dutch defensive midfielder, already impressive at PSV, and above all Lovro majer, Croatian attacking midfielder, presented as the new nugget of his country, were attracted to France. To the delight of their respective club.
