Nice takes a hell of a slap

OGC Nice fell heavily at home against Strasbourg (0-3), this Sunday on the occasion of the 17th day of Ligue 1.
The ambitions of Nice took a hit this Sunday afternoon. Opposed to a formation of Strasbourg full of confidence, the Aiglons were slapped 0-3, missing at the same time the opportunity to settle on the podium of the Ligue 1. A podium which is only three lengths behind the Alsatians.
Attractive in the game, the troop of Julien Stéphan was rightly rewarded for its domination with the opening of the score of Ajorque (21st), author of his ninth achievement of the season, against locals struggling for a good thirty minutes .
Diallo knocks out the Gym
Feverish collectively, the Niçois showed a better face in the second half but lacked efficiency in both surfaces. Christophe Galtier’s men were then punished at the end of the game with two new goals conceded in quick succession by Diallo (82nd) and Thomasson (84th).
The Strasbourg residents thus go on to a sixth unbeaten match in L1 (3 wins, 3 draws) before receiving OM next Sunday, thus moving up to 6th place in the standings. The Gym, always so inconstant, is for its part of the treadmill.
