Arab Cup: Algeria succeeds in entering

The Fennecs dominated Sudan 4-0 on Wednesday for their first Arab Cup game.

Algeria did not miss its debut in the Arab Cup, sweeping Sudan, 4-0, on Wednesday at the Ahmad Bin Ali stadium in Al Rayyan (Qatar).

The goals of the Fennecs, deprived of elements evolving in Europe, were scored by Baghdad Bounedjah (11e, 37e), Djamel Benlamri (43e) and El Arabi Soudani (46e).

The competition brings together 16 nations and is played in part of the stadiums that will host the World Cup next year. Also present in Group D, Egypt and Lebanon face each other today at the Al Thumama Stadium in Doha.
