Thanks to his brace, Cristiano Ronaldo is a little more in the annals of Manchester United
Cristiano Ronaldo struck a big blow on Thursday in the Red Devils’ victory over the Gunners (3-2),. The Portuguese indeed offered himself a double and thus crossed the milestone of 800 career goals, approaching a little closer, with now 801 goals on the clock, to the mark of Joseph Bikan, the most prolific scorer of the history with 805 achievements.
While waiting to become the top scorer in history, CR7, thanks to his two goals, added a record to his collection. The native of Funchal has indeed become, at 36 years and 300 days, the oldest player to score a brace in the Premier League with Manchester United.
Note that the former Madrilenian now also has 100 matches in the Mancunian jersey with at least one goal. And the record is rather flattering, the Red Devils having 90 wins, 6 draws and only 4 losses in these 100 matches.
