The English did not do in detail against Lithuania in the World Cup qualifiers.

Traveling to England, the Lithuanian women’s team experienced a terrible ordeal on Tuesday in the World Cup qualifiers. Led 3-0 after only ten minutes then 8-0 at the break, the Lithuanians have indeed finally lost 20-0!

Enough to allow the players of England to establish a new record, this 20-0 victory being the biggest of an English selection, male and female teams combined. It surpasses the 13-0 inflicted by the English on Hungary in 2005.

The night also saw Ellen White, thanks to her hat-trick, become England’s top scorer in history, with 48 goals in 101 games. But on Tuesday, the prize of the evening went to Lauren Hemp, who split a quadruple, Beth Mead and Alessia Russo also scoring a hat-trick.
